Everything about Kawasaki-ku Kawasaki totally explained

lies on the eastern edge of Kawasaki, nestled against the mouth of the Tama River and Tokyo Bay. Kawasaki-ku has long been known for the vast numbers of factories situated on landfill at its eastern edges. However, the local government undertook extensive efforts in the 1990s to revamp the areas image. Now the ward is equally known for such attractions as Kawasaki Daishi (Temple), the 2nd most visited temple in the Kantō region, as well as its Korea Town, home to the second largest concentration of Koreans living in Japan behind Osaka, as of 1999.
